A local who knows Kentucky
Your own LGS moment

Not every bourbon experience can be booked online. Over two full sipping days, guests are welcomed into the private corners of Bourbon Country through rare access, intimate tastings, and stories rarely told on public tours. This is not a crowded bus experience. It's Kentucky through the eyes of the insiders, a fully guided, all-inclusive journey for a small private group.

A sample of how the days unfold

Day 1: Heritage, Ruins & Whiskey Craft

  • Morning: Private behind-the-scenes experience at an iconic horse-country distillery, with premium tastings and a deeper look at craftsmanship and the aging process.
  • Midday: Semi-private guided walk through a stunning restored distillery's historic ruins, botanical grounds, and castle property, intimate group size only.
  • Afternoon: Private tasting and candid conversation with a head distiller inside a working craft distillery, the kind of conversation most visitors never get to have.
A Note from Louie

We open with rare access others never get, from historic ruins to a candid conversation with a head distiller.

Day 2: Rebels, Barrel Rooms & Bourbon Legends

  • Morning: A barrel experience hosted by ownership at a respected independent whiskey house, sampling straight from the barrel while learning blending and barrel selection.
  • Midday: A progressive heritage tour tracing the legacy of wheated bourbon through guided tastings and historic storytelling on sacred bourbon ground.
  • Afternoon: A private candlelit speakeasy evening with a Kentucky bourbon legend, curated pours, firsthand stories, and rare whiskey lore behind hidden doors.
A Note from Louie

The day builds from barrel room to speakeasy, ending behind hidden doors with a Kentucky bourbon legend and stories rarely told.

Day 3: Bourbon & the Bluegrass

  • Morning: A private morning in horse country, a paddock-side visit with the thoroughbreds followed by a barrel-pick tasting.
  • Midday: Your choice of a round of golf at one of Kentucky's best public courses or a guided Bluegrass drive, with a relaxed lunch.
  • Afternoon: A farewell reserve tasting and toast before your private transfer to departure.
A Note from Louie

We finish where Kentucky's two great loves meet, a paddock-side morning and a farewell pour among the thoroughbreds.

This is only a sample. Your itinerary will be built entirely around your dates, group and interests.
